A commercial storage system is used where you need to shave a consumption peak, ride through a grid dip or match generation to load, but building a container yard would be overkill. The cabinet design fits into an existing room or stands outdoors on a prepared foundation.

How does storage differ from a UPS with batteries?
A UPS is built for a short discharge and holds the load until the generator starts. A storage system is built for daily cycling: it charges and discharges to a scenario — shaving peaks, compensating surges, levelling generation. Different cell chemistry, different power stage, different economics.
Can the system be installed outdoors?
Yes, there are insulated enclosures with built-in climate control, fire suppression and alarms. A prepared foundation and access for unloading are required. Temperature and snow-load conditions are confirmed per site.
What is the payback period?
It depends on the tariff model and the consumption profile: the higher the demand charge and the more frequent the peaks, the shorter the payback. We calculate it on your site data — from half-hourly profiles across a year, not from monthly averages.
